Will a 1400 watt amp kit bring down watts in a 2000 watt amp?

If it is Sony then you have nothing to worry about but if it is Zapco,PPI,Orion,US amps,Arc Audio,Tru Tech,ECT...... you will not get full power out of your system not to mention melt your wires possably causing a fire on the way.
