yah i also installed a aftermarket deck that only (with the harness) had a constant, switched power cable, ground, and remote wire (which i have nothing to connect to it)

then the car has one for a dimmer, illumination, and also a antenna trigger, does it matter that i dont use these any more? for the remote wire on the deck do i need to connect it to one of thees?. i know what a remote wire is also on my amps remote wire i just spliced it to the switched power, (before i got new deck) still have it connected there cuse my deck has no place for a remote wire. unless the preamp out works as that (amp broke few days ago cant test)

The Orange wire is an illumination lead, basically, when you turn your headlights on, the lead will dim the deck so the display isn't as bright when the lights are on.
