I bought a car with a cdx-L410 head unit from sony installed in it. I also bought a new Alpine head unit, so i need to take out the sony one, but i don't have the Extraction keys for it. Any one know how i can make some or where i can find one? Thanks alot
Bare with me here, the sony's I delt with were the older models so this might not work.
There is a black plastic ring that fits around the radio. Its real easy to see if you take the face plate off. Grab it on the sides and pull gently. It should pop right off. Once it is out of the way you want to push inwards on the clips that were holding it on. Keep pressing in as you gently pull out, and you should have it.
Hay eric what type of car do you have. Most use a dash adapter that you can remove once you take the dash apart. It makes it alot easer to work with.
