I just spent a good two hours trying to remove the stock speakers out of the girlfriends Lumina. This is driving me crazy. I've removed every screw and tried everything I Can think of to remove the door panel. It won't budge.

Someone said that it may be because of the power locks. What does power locks have to do with it?

I don't want to have to take it to future shop. What will they do different? It's not like there's a screw that they'll take out and it'll just pop off - there aren't any screws, bolts or clips that I can see.

Poppin it off with a flathead won't work, either.

Help, please!

On my car the actual handle that you pull the door with has an insert that pops off and there are two bolts underneath. There has to be something like that the you missed.

That's what I thought. Two hours later, no hidden screws.

I'd love to help you but I have no knowledge of luminas. What you could try to do is buy one of those hanes manuals that tells you how to fix your car or if you like just go to your dealer and ask them how to take the doors off or get them to do it for you.
