Silver Member Username: AraknidPost Number: 153 Registered: Nov-04 | not only is it 3 inches but that is way to freakin thick. tryin to make it bullet proof? Id say 5/8 would be more like it. just to let you know 3 inches is the average lenth of a pinky finger. |
Silver Member Username: AraknidPost Number: 154 Registered: Nov-04 | I think that pretty much explained it. |
Silver Member Username: AraknidPost Number: 155 Registered: Nov-04 | what would this be considered, 4th order? |
Bronze Member Username: SubfanaticWalton, Ky Usa Post Number: 51 Registered: Dec-04 | thanks mike...but what exactly should i build |
Silver Member Username: AraknidPost Number: 156 Registered: Nov-04 | And last question is earlier I asked poeples opinion on which is relatively better performing, 2 12" Adire Shivas or 2 similiar Cerwin Vegas and I really didnt get to much info, so what would you perfer? |
Silver Member Username: AraknidPost Number: 157 Registered: Nov-04 | When you bought your eclipse you should have got a spec sheet. This should have the amount of cubic feet reccomended for both sealed and ported enclosures that your sub works best in. Id have to say that a sealed box would in most cases take up less space and be easier to build. Ported on the other hand takes up slightly more space and (unless you know what your doing)be more difficult since you'll have to tune the port, but the type of box you will build will depend on what type of sound you're lookin for. |
