Everytime I try to turn my system up and listen to my new subs the f@#kin head unit shuts off. Is there a way i could put a new fuse in or rewire it somehow to keep it on? PLEASE help.
it only happens when i turn up the volume. It never did it untill I hooked the amp up...but the amp is getting its power from the battery not the HU...so what can i do ?
um dude im not prolly 100% correct but it's not your head unit if anything its saving u from buying a new headunit.
It sounds like ur system is starving for power and the headunit cuts off cuase it isnt being provided the correct amout of power basically it will burn itself up if you keep doing this the mosfet supply will die. I'd start wit a compacitor and a second battery if not that try bigger altenator.
