I have a S-10 (2000) and i have 2 JL w3 V2 with a audiobahn A8002t bridged at 4 ohms. It slams but the only thing is that my roof freakin jumps like 4 inches i can put a quater on it and it jumps like 5 inches high. What should i do to the roof to stop it? Insulate it with foam or what
well, you can spray-line the roof and vehicle interior with sound deadening material like rhino lining or lizard skin (non asphault based materials) or you can use dynamat or eDead or a similar rolled deadener against the metal, between the roof and the roof liner, as well as door panels, and if you have the time, the foor of the truck cab under the carpeting, too. that'll help quite a bit.
