So, as I was saying, this is off topic, but I just bought some neons for my car, I was wondering if I could hard wire them into the speakers in my door. Any one know anything about hardwiring neons?
neon runs on 120VAC via an inverter. you need to wire it to a solid 12VDC source. speakers do NOT run on 12VDC. audio signals are an AC voltage. do not wire neon tubes to speaker wires.
