I have a 800.2 rock amp pushing 2 Punch 500w HX2 with a 1 farad cap, duralast gold battery, and stock 85-105amp. They hit really hard but I need to upgrade my alternator because its about to kill it.

What kind of battery and alternator do I need to upgrade to?

Is it hard to install low gauge battey wires?

new larger power lines and ground lines aren't very hard to put in.
as for a ballpark of alternator size, you'd want to go with at least a 150-165A alternator if you push the system pretty hard.
