Continous Power Output : 16Wx4* Maximum Power Output : 50W MAX x 4
and an amp with the following specs.
RMS Power (at 14.4V,20Hz-20kHz)
Bridged 4 ohms : 100W x 2 (0.3% THD) Per channel into 2 ohms : 50W x 4 (0.3% THD) Per channel into 4 ohms : 40W x 4 (0.08% THD)
running 4 speakers with the following specs.
Power Handling Capacity (Peak) : 140W Power Handling Capacity (RMS) : 35W
How can you not waste the power put out by the HU, or should I not be concerned with it? Should I run the power from the HU to the rears, and bridge the power from the amp to the fronts?
forget about the head unit power. it won't be as clean as using the external amplifier, and the less heat you have in the head unit, the cleaner the signal is going to be as well.
PS, with the RMS handling of your fronts, I wouldn't bridge that amp to them. if you went to some good 6.5" separates that are rated for 100wRMS per channel, then I'd think about bridging the amp to them, and using rear channls of the head unit for rear speakers, sure
i just got my 94 eclipse, and the wiring harness had been cut out, now i am having a hard time figuring out the speakers.they are crossed over somewheres and i cant seem to find where. does anyone know where i can get the wiring codes 4 it
