When you guys talk about deadening the doors with that peel & seal stuff from Home Depot do you just do it on the face of the door behind the plastic panel or do you also install it inside the door behind the window?

just on the metal surface under the door panel.
same thing on the floors under the carpet of the car, and all around the trunk under the liner materials, against bare metal to absorb vibration.
you can do the roof also if desired. never hurts.

Just spent $1500 on new audio equipment...so the doors are the only thing getting it right now...have a 2001 Silverado so I don't have a trunk.

you could use a spray in liner as an alternative, similar to rhino lining.
same effect, and better coverage.
