i just sold my mtx 9500 and now i'm looking to buy a x.x.x. The amp i curently have is an INFINITY 1210a rated at 854w RMS x1 @ 4 ohms and 1300 W RMS x1 @ 2 ohms. its a good amp, but i'm wondering will this power a 15" x.x.x. that i plan to get. do they have subs with dual 4ohm VC or something so that i get a 2ohm load or will the 4 ohm output of my amp be enough? or do i need a new diff amp altoghether?
when you call RE for the X.XX for 25 bucks more you can special order the X.XX in dual 4 ohm voice coils, this would allow you to run your amp at 2 ohms.,...i'd say thatd be your best bet
