Is it possible to have a jl 1000/1 with a X.X.X sub?

the 1000/1 is 1000 watss from 1.5-4 ohms ... and the x.x.x subs are dual 2 ohm , quad 2 ohm, and dual 1 ohm... if im not mistaken dont u need a 1 ohm or half ohm amp?? i really wanted to use the jl 1000/1 but i dont know if i can. if you know what your talking about id love to hear your input thanks i appreciate it

Since the JL 1000/1 is regulated to produce the same power at 1.5-4 ohms, you can get the dual 2 ohm X.X.X. and wire the voice coils in series for a 4 ohm load, giving it 1000W+ RMS.
