Alpine CDA-7898 Question

Hello,

This question has already been posed here:
https://www.ecoustics.com/electronics/forum/car-audio/62074.html

...but still no soltion. Any MP3 CD I make, regardless of the order I put the files on the CD, regardles of how I name the folders (001, 002, 003 or A, B, C...) the Alpine plays the MP3's in a totally random order. The naming convention for the folders does not matter. I have made several CD's and there is no rhyme or reason to the order the folders are played back (the songs are in the correct order within the folder).

Has anyone found a fix for this?

Thanks,

Alan

Dude - have you asked Alpine - I have found them to extremely helpful here in Aus, like they bent over backwards on an out of warranty HU to upgrade the firmware, I didn't even have to pay shipping. If your support is anything like ours here then just ask them.

Cheers Glenn
