Hi ,i would like to buy 4-channel amp i came down to RF P8004 (100 RMS x 4 at 4 ohms) or JL 300/4 (75 RMS x 4 at 4 ohms), these are in my budget range and also RMS power range for my speakers.
your call, but I can give you some objective info on the two. the JL has a regulated power supply and output stage. this means regardless of input voltage, and speaker load (within spec) the amplifier puts out the exact same power to the speakers. So, if you're going to run components, and they are 4 ohms, either amp will do well for you. If you ever plan to try wiring the amp to a 2 ohm load to get more power, the RF is your amp. If you're after the best SQ at 4 ohms, I'd probably lean toward the JL amp between the two. It's really just a matter of what fits your needs and desires. both are very good amplifiers.
