Home cone repair?

is it possible to repar the cone yourself?
mine has a big crack in it aparently framing squares and subs dont mix ..oddly it still sounds the same as it did before but is there anyway to do it yourself without sending it to get reconed

I say if it sounds the same then just leave it , but if your worried about showing it off then I dont know just invert it or something.
