where is the best place to buy this sub? i cant seem to find anywhere. and what amp should i use to power one of these subs? (it can take like 600 RMS but i hear 300 will do just fine)

Call them up, and they will ship u one or tell u the closest retailer there is from your house.
i don't think it can take 600 rms, i thought it was as much as the v-max's, if i recall well they're 350rms each.... N-eways, check out jbl or mtx amps, top of the line for what u pay for.

And by the way, the Shiva is DVC, 650W rms total. Any good amp that does 300-400W RMS at 4 ohm will be great for a Shiva.

i have 2 shivas. more than 350w or so and they start sounding like poopoo

i need an amp that can put out 300 RMS and have a sub level remote though. cuz my HU doesnt have a sub level adjustment. what should i get?

It just totally depends on the enclosure you plan to put them in.

Yep. You could just get an amp that does 300-400W at a bridged 4 ohm load, and wire the subs voice coils in parallel. That's your best route that way the sub is in mono.
