Okay so for whatever reason my Head Unit seems not to be putting out enough preamp voltage or my amp is not sensitive enough.. etc.
I talked to some local shops about having a look and testing things but they want around $75 an hour! One said they needed maybe an hour and another said several hours. I called Rockford Fosgate and the tech said I should get charged maybe 10 bucks for them to look it over with an occiliscope. The shop that wanted to take an hour doesn't even have one. I'm not sure about the other.
