I have 2 12" w3v2's in a q logic 1.25' box running off an MTX 801d. Theses subs sound like they are confused on what they are sopposed to play sometimes and they just dont sound as good as the Type R I Had. Is everything above the W3v2 better sounding and louder? What would be best.. I have a 94' F150 extended cab and the box sits on the back seat and I have about 20 inches of depth fo the box . Should I get 1 12W7 or 13 or 2 W6's? Advantages, Disadvantages? I want clean accurate hard hitting bass that has a good frequency response.
you've prolly got your impedance wrong, those two w3's with that amp should slam, check your ohm load with a meter and also determain wether your box is the right size for your subs also, in that truck you should have the subs facing the back of the truck, not towards the dash or the roof, make sure that they have "at least" 4 or 5 inches from the back wall though
