hey all, i tried google but i cant seem to find a straight answer for this. When an amp says 1000x2 does that mean each channel gets 1000 or do you divide it by two leaving each channel at 500? sorry just a little new at this

Yes each channel gets 1000.

Sometimes that 1000W is not really 1000W unless the ad says rms. So don't get fooled.
