Amp for 4 10" subs

my original thread is in the archive for nov 14.
I got my subs hooked up in my box. When the speakers play over 30, they seem like to much air is inside, and they blow out with horrible sound. Should I add some insulation inside? Any thoughts? Thanks, Jeff

what do you mean?
do the subs make a "huffing" sound?
Is the box sealed or ported?
what type of subs are these and what amp do you have?

all of the info is in the original thread in the archive but here it is.
the magnum mtx subs have an impedance of 4 ohm. They have a 125 watt rms and 250 watt total.

dhd lcd 9444 1000watt amp
max power@ 2 ohm : 250w x 4 =1000w

box is sealed.
