i got two 12 legacy subs each can hold 2000 watts of power. right now they are powered by a 1800 watt legacy amp i got another amp same kind. i want one amp to power one sub and the other amp to power the other sub. how can i do this and what do i need to hook it up
Get a fused distributive block. Then run 4Gauge into the distributive block, and you can either run a 4 gauge out or a 8 gauge out to the amp. Make sure that the same gauge wire you use to power the amps, is the same gauge as the wire to ground the amp. Hope I Helped. :-D
um... not sure if that's peak power or not but if its a combined RMS of 3,600 watts using the two amps 4 gauge cable will definitely NOT cut it to well; go down to 0/1.
