Hey all.. The diagrams I find for wiring (2X) 4 ohm DVC subs @ 1ohm are shown splicing the wire where it breaks of to each separate sub .I have the subs in separate boxes on each side of the trunk on a single channel.. My questions are; does splicing the speaker wire and running it through a distribution block effect sound quality.?..Again I have two separate boxes and need to run the subs @ 1ohm on a single channel..Whats the easiest way to wire them correctly??

If there a two 4 ohm dvc speakers then wire all blacks together and all reds together. This will give you 1 ohm. I don't see why a distribution block would affect the sound quality, but its unnecessary.
