Sub wiring gauge size????

Hello
I am running two 10" subs @ 200 watts RMS each. My wiring kit comes with 16 Gauge speaker wire. Is this wire size acceptable or should I go to a 12 or 10 gauge speaker wire????..

16 is rather small in almost any cass i would run the 12 gauge
