I need some help when it comes to subwoofers, i have a few questions, whats better 2 or 4 ohms, and lets say i get 2 subs with a peak power of 1500 watts but rms is 300-500 watts so does that mean i need a 1000 watt amp if i run the subs at 500 rms? please help thanks

the ohms are a mesurement. Therefore, there is no better. You just have to check wether your subs are going to need 4 or 2 ohms or more. You calculate your amp to the rms wattage your subs need. I.e. 550 rms subs = 550 rms amp.
The closer the both numbers are, the better.
