i have 2 infinity kappa perfect 12". and wondering since the speaker peak power is 1,400 , ill use a 2000watt and 1000 watt amp.what would be the best way of wiring this, and what amp(s) would i need(2ch or 4ch?)
You shouldn't go by speaker peak power, but more by the RMS power. The RMS power is basicly the power that the subwoofer can produce continuously. Peak power is the rated watts of which a speaker can product for a very small amount of time. a second or so. Also, you should break in your sub if your sub is brand new. You don't want a blown sub because you blasted it as soon as you got it.
