was wondering if you can control your subs with your HU? like how loud they are or if you want the bass completly off? orif its only some HUs that can do that i think i read somewhere that alpine has that feature?

i was lookin at some of the features on the alpine cd9831 and would this be what im looking for

Most HU's have the feature you are looking for if they have a low-level subwoofer out. On my Alpine, turning the sub control down reduces the volume but does not mute the sub. Even at 0 you can still hear it.
