Viper alarm auto locks

I have a viper alarm in a 97 econoline van. I would like to disable the auto lock feature.
can someone help me out? I believe it is a
300+ system

NOTE this will only work on a viper 300+ alarm.
some of the features maybe different if you have a different model alarm and you could make your alarm do strange things if yours isin't a 300+.

just bought a used car that i think has a viper 300+ alarm. how can i verify?? all i know is that it has a transparent sensor adjustment box?

you will have to look at the brain of the alarm.
follow the wires from the shock sensor (transparent sensor adjustment box) to where the brain is. if it's a viper, it will say there.
