Hey Man#80, if you need/want a powerful bass sound and clear music at loud volumes, then you need extra amps. Your HU only puts around 13 - 15W rms. An external amp can boost that to many times over. If you ever tried to turn the volume up near the max, you'll know what I'm talking about. If all you want is a bass boost, then get a sub amp and subs. That alone should make your music listening much more enjoyable. Don't get fooled by the peak ratings. They're garbabe.
