First, let me explain my setup.

I have 2 tweeters on the dash
I have 2 6" speakers in the front doors
I have 2 6" speakers in the back doors
I have 2 6x9 speakers in the back.

Now, I want to buy the secret audio. (This is for work on a 55 chevy. the secret audio system is good because i can have the original radio in the dash and use a seperate unit..) No problem.. except it only puts out something weak (25x4... which is more or less 12.5x8........)

So I want to run an amplifier to the speakers so they dont suck as much.

My question is how exactly do I do this? (Would I run the wire from the amp to the speakers or to the deck?)

What kind of amp should I get? (Please suggest some good ones. Also, I'd like to upgrade the speakers. I just bought some just so I'd have sound. Some good speaker suggestions would be nice as well)

Do I need more than one amp? (Will one amp give enough power...?)

Do I hook it up to one pair and run the wire in series?

Ah, I'm confused. I'm pretty good with this stuff but when it comes to adding additional power sources, I get confused.
Thanks

Unless you plan on running some sort of 5.1 or 7.1 surround system having all those speakers in the back is not going to help your soundstage much.

lol, I think Jonathan should take this one.
