I see that the components that I am going to be getting (JL xr 650 csi) is 4 ohms... They say recommended amp should give it 75-150 watts of power...

Question: is there a two channel amp that gives out 100-150 watts of power at 4 ohms? Other then the JL 300/2 ?

If you mean cheaper yeah there's this:

Thats a discontinued item that listed at $400+. A little less power at 4 ohms, but would double as a decent 500 watt bass amp with the right sub(s).

There's a bunch of options out there like bridging a "lower" power 4 channel amp for example. Personally, I'd spend the extra bucks and go with the JL. Jonathan uses a JL 300/2. Thats enough for me.
