Since my 01 jetta visited the dealership to have the power window put back on its track my Alpine CHM-s630 isn't working. It accepts CD's but it's as if no power is going to the "remote" in the car. (The changer is in the trunk). The dealership won't touch it. What can I do? I'm pretty handy but don't know whre to start.
If the changer has power & the remote dosen't. It most likely lost the connection. Do you also have a Alpine HU? Get used to the window problem in the Jetta the rest of them will soon follow. Poor design on VW's part. Plastic clips break.
