how hard do you think that 18" Sub would hit with the MA Audio HK802SX which is 4400 Watts RMS @ 1 ohm bridged????

depends oh the vehicle and the true power of the ma audio amp but i heard one at a comp in a truck on two us amp 2000 rms monsters and it only did a 148 db burp which i thought stank but it was probably the install

what kind of car/truck was it, i've competed against solo x's before, unfortunatly for kicker my dd's killed'em

Digital Design subs are plain out wicked for SPL, a 9500 or 9900 is more than capable of smacking the Solo X all over the place. Honestly, IMO the Solo X is just a power eater, better can be had for SPL, and with less current draw. It just depends on your budget.
