No! Dude...don't go asking questions about Lanzar amps, having people tell you they suck, and then come back and ask if it's a good system.
The CompVrs are fine. I'get to Vega V-max 12s before I got CompVrs. The Comp VR "might" be a little louder, but the SQ is better on the V-Max. They also require less power to run.
