I am going to get the shiva 12" after everyone has told me its very good for its price. I am just wondering what kind of box should i get for a single sub. like the sealed and ported stuff. And size and all that stuff. whatever would be the best for it. I want to get it as cheap as possible because i dont have a very good paying job lol.

And do all grills fit subs? cause the shiva sub is too plain and i wanted a grill for it. i'm just guessing but i think those are cheap.

I believe sealed is the way to go with the shiva. But ported would be alright also.

Go to www.adireaudio.com and checkout the spec sheets for the shiva. They have both sealed and ported box designs and the blueprints for them.

For sealed try 1.75 cu ft or 1.5 cu ft w/1.5 lbs of polyfill
