How to install 2 amps with one RCA output

i'M TRYING TO INSTALL ON MY CAR TWO AMPS, ONE OF 250 WATTS FOR THE FACTORY SPEAKERS AND ANOTHER OF 1200 WATTS FOR TWO 15" SUBS. i HAVE ALL THE WIRING READY WHAT i DONT KNOW IS HOW DO I DO THE RCA WIRING BECAUSE MY CAR RADIO HAS ONLY ONE RCA OUTPUT.. CAN I USE A "Y" CONECTOR TO SPLIT THE RCA OUTPUT FROM THE RADIO TO BOTH AMPS?

You can do that, or if either of your amplifiers have RCA outpouts (some do, some don't) then you can run some short RCAs from 1 amp to another.

I would use a Y, but like MazdaMan said, there is a 'pass thru' on some amps (RF comes to mind) to where there are multiple RCA in and out puts on the amp. Its becoming rare in newer amps now.
