I have a box that is about 5 cubic feet without ports and it has a slot port that has an opening of 18x5, and is around 17 inchs long

Im ordering tonight i need some help!!!!!!!!
I will take 2 12's if that works also

that would come out to about a 38 hz tune will prob be a little high for the v maxes esp after displacement for the 12's but if you put insulation in 2 inches thick or 2 lbs poly you will be at about 35 hz tune after displacement

so if i polly fill it it sould work alot better? would it sound LOUD? id be running a 1200w amp to them

go with 1 vmax 15, save 35 bucks, get an awesome amp, pay child support. v-max 15" = 20hz 96db.

or a 15" Kv.2 at www.edesignaudio.com

or a 15" comp VR anywhere

or a 15" brahma if you wanna spend a little more :-)

would only need 600 rms for the two 12 v maxes not sure what brand amp you have but if its true power youll be good with 600 rms and the poly just makes the box seem bigger than it is but the reason i was telling you to do it was to get the port tune down lower which you needed
