I have a car with a sealed trunk and I'm looking for a 60/40 SPL/SQ combo.
I can spend about 1200 dollars on subs, sub amp and a box. Would a ported box or a sealed box be better for my trunk to prevent rrattle but keep them hitting real hard so they shake me.
Right now I'm looking at 2 12" Brahma's 2 12" Eclipse Titanium's 2 12" ID Max's
Also I'm looking for a good amp choice to help power whichever sub you recommend. Thanks guys!
im sure someone with more experience can tell you which subs would work out better for that 60/40 SPL to SQ combo but to keep your trunk from rattling just dynamat it up. look at ice guard, fat mat, and b-quiet (all knock off dynamat brands that work just as well) and just cover the entire trunk. this will inporve SQ as well as get rid of that nasty rattle.
