ok heres the deal, i recently bought a pair of Acoustic Audio GX350 NR Speakers for my dorm room and didnt realize that the hookup is not a regular plug for a computer, it is just thebare wire that you slip into a clip, like on a RCA stereo. is there somewhere i can buy a wire with the computer plug on one end and the bare wire hookup on the other?

all advice is greatly appreciated.

You may have a problem hooking up those speakers to a computer if these units are not self powered. The speaker output of computers usually require powered speakers as they do not provide enough amplification for regular speakers. So even, if you connect them using an adaptor, they will not work.

Yes you can. Just make sure that they are low level outputs and not the ones meant for the headphones.
