its really nothing that i would care to "mod" or "diy" to my cables i was just wondering about like a subwoofer cable or component if they were shorter would there be better sound and picture
Can't just say yes or no. It depends on the quality of the cable, length, and the equipment being used. If you just want to know if shorter is better, yes. That doesn't mean you can't go longer without any visable or audible loss.
