Damn cables stink. The terminals are longer than most and as a result, if the terminals are plugged in a tricky spot that calls for a tight bend of the cable, the terminal will torque inside the terminal housing and become loose, completely dropping the signal unless the terminal is jiggled around and finds that sweet spot.

What BS. This is the second AQ cable I'm on and this one did the same thing. In order to fix the problem, I used a spare 6' cable and bought an HDMI coupler, increasing the total length of my HDMI run to about 21'. The place where the terminal was bent sharply was replaced by the 6' end, and the other end, the DVD player end, is connected by the AQ cable.

No tight bends, no terminal torquing, no dropped signals.

Geez, you'd think an expensive cable like this would have "standard" terminals which click into place and stay there.
