Component v Composite Cable Difference???

Anonymous	Posted on Tuesday, November 15, 2005 - 11:22 GMT I have three good quality composite cables. Is there any real reason I cannot use these three cables for a component hookup? A side by side comparison with a set of component cables shows no visible difference other than the color coding. Thanks
