There seems to be quite a few choices with varying price ranges. So far I've seen RAM, Key Digital, DTrovision, Gefen and Ultralink. Can anyone recommend a 50ft cable length that achieves 1080p? Would I be better off using a repeater/extender? WHat have you guys used and can anyone share their experiences?

Thanks in advance,
Al

All of these manufacturers claim to have a 1080p cable at longer lengths but I've seen them all fail at 30ft +. THe best setup I have seen is IXOS, they have a 50ft cable but they recomend using their booster to assure you get a full 1080p at 50ft.
Their # is 800-826-4697. Don't try their website it sucks and doesn't even list their HDMI and DVI cables.

Here is a HDMI extender repeater:http://www.octavainc.com/HDMI%20extender.htmfor those looking for help in projector installs.

It cleans up and boosts the TMDS signal after a long cable run.
It includes a power adapter for powering. For long HDMI cables, it will be necessary to inject the power at the HDMI extender repeater due to the voltage drop across the cable.
