I just bought a tv that has no audio out feature. I have basic cable, so it doesnt have a cable box. What is the best and cheapest way to get cable audio to run thru the surround sound system. I was told that I could simply hook the cable up to a vcr and run composite cables out of that into the the system. But I thought that If I had cable in i would have to use Cable out on the vcr. Can a vcr cross lines like that or is it straight thru? Even without the vcr is there a way I can do this cheap. I dont want the best sound for my cable tv, I just want it to work lol

Thanks

you have to go the VCR route. It is the cheapest way, too.
