I have a well cared for Canon ZR 30 Digi Camcorder. About 9 months ago, it started eating tapes. Canon fixed it for $145.00. 3 months later, the same problem, now they want $172!! Is this a bad unit or a bad design. I have used several Canon products, but it seems that lately, the newer stuff sucks in quality and customer service.
