overall it usually doesnt mater but one thing i can tell you is the more strands the more flexable and with car stereo tight spots sometimes you need the wire to bend

so rockford fosgate amp kit isnt gonna cause your subs to hit harder than a generic brand amp kit?

I just bought a generic brand amp kit because some guy told me that the name brand wire wont do any improvement for me since im going to get a newbie

are you insane sean???????????
what is the idea of giving him bad advice?
brand name matters. brand name is everything.
if it dosen't have an instantly recognizable name. it isin't as good.

plain and simple.

amps, radios, speakers, wire, even fuses man.
hell, i even BUY air so i don't have to breath this generic stuff.

Do you have any proof to back that up anonymous or is that just your opinion.

er, uhmm.. it was meant as a joke.. ha ha
did you see the part where i said "i buy air"?
guess i should have put a smiley face in there somewhere. oh well..

for the everyday user wire brand dosen't matter, but when you get into competing, every watt and amp matters. so you want good stuff then. :-)

and i still hate generic air
