I recently started having problems with my amp and sub.I have a Power Acoustik A2400DB amp and Power Acoustik MOFO-12 in a sealed enclosure. One morning, I go to my car and the sub is not producing anything. When i press down on the sub, i hear a little bit of bass trying to come out but nothing more.Did I blow it?Is this a common problem?

Ive had that happened to me before and it was bumping and everything then all the sudden stopped. I blew a voice coil on mine.

check your tinsel leads, it may have either fried itself or disconnected itself and the slight bass is it just barly hanging on...could be your voice coil as well...

Push on the sub hard enough to make it move pretty far, if it's scratchy, you blew a voice coil. Even if it's not scratchy it could still be a voice coil, but this is an easy sign and usually happens.
