I’ve been going down the dark black abyss of buying subwoofers & saying well these sound like crap lets go get something else, Last night i installed 2 12 inch Dvc Memphis audio in a dual 12 inch ported box. I ran them both separately to a 3,500 W mono block no i didn’t turn the gain all the way up I made sure my ground & everything was good & they still sound like crap, One of my cheap $40 JBL’s sound better even though its a cheap sub that really can’t handle much. I have no mid to high range bass either To give you all the info i can I wired each woofer positive to positive negative to negative then positive to negative out, No i did not run them in series or parallel my box wouldn’t allow me too. I’m at the point i practically own a audio shop And I’ve given up all hope due to being out of money and way too far over budget. The only thing i can think now is it is my box. Please help
