Nightmare with this player - I have what I believe to be a right code but when I press 5 to confirm the radio just turns off and its back to the code screen again, saying its the first attempt again. If I enter a wrong code first then the right code the unit stays on for 1 second then does the same.
It is unusual for Ford radios to be recoded to a different number as the original codes are readily available.
Does the display show CODE and the digits being entered?
