only 106 shipped here. but none the less crutchfields service is second to none and probably worth the extra $4 Im thinking about getting a pair and seeing how they do with 1500 each ;)

man if i was still in my loud phase (like a few yrs ago) i would have surely get 4 of these & tune that sh1t low like 32hz & that wud be like heaven ...

how are these type r's? ive heard they do get loud, but just don't quite have that low end thump.

but i have no experience with them and thought i would ask to clear it up for me.

but they are known for their low end thump - just build a appropriate low tuned box & u will get that from it ....

The type r's do have low end thump. Not sure where you heard that. Like Rovin said put them in the correct enclosure not a prefab and you will get the low's.

yea the fs is something like 29 hz they love the lows

How do you figure that? Just because a sub has a low free air resonance, doesnt mean it "loves the lows". The suspension, xmax, motor strength, and other factors are relative to a sub's ability to perform well at ultra low frequencies. Consider an 8" woofer with a Fs of 25hz :/

A sub with a Fs twice that of another can still be louder at sub frequencies. A stiff suspension can raise the Fs of a woofer, but that doesnt necessarily mean it impedes it's ability to play low's.
